i dont know if it is written in the rules, but you use each skill per the amount of times you have purchased it. it resets when the scene has ended, as announced by a GM

Also quick question, can skills only be used once or is there not a limit on them. Like Parry and dodge. Can some one with those just spam them and never be hit? If not there should be a bit about how to use skills and when they reset. If I am sounding like I am nit-picking, I don't mean to. As long as you have the number of dodges or parries etc, you can spam the hell out of them. If you had three dodges, and get hit with three death spells in a row, you can say dodge dodge dodge to avoid them.

For those types of skills, known as "tagged skills," it is different for some skills than others. Parry and dodge are skills that you get to use the skill once per time that you have added that. If I have dodge added twice, I can dodge twice per scene. Those skills reset per scene. There are skills that work differently, such as backstab, where it causes more damage each time you level it up.

Those skills that are not used actively the way that dodge or parry are used are called passive skills. Passive skills have a constant effect such as backstab adding a constant +2 damage from behind.
